New tunes, cold night, hot show! Jan. 11 at the King’s Head

Greetings and hallucinations, Groggy followers!

We made our debut last night (Jan. 11, 2018) at the King’s Head Pub, and warmed up to a number of new cover tunes on a very cold night.

Despite a Thursday night show, despite a temperature of about -35 C (disgusting, no?), we played to a faithful and supportive following of about 30 people. They heard us try some Sheryl Crow, Sweet, Go-Gos, Billy Joel, Pat Benatar, Rick Springfield, and Fountains of Wayne tunes for the very first time.

We ran through three sets, and might have played our best set yet to close out the night.

Thanks so much to everyone who braved the roads and the temperature to come see us play. We expect to be at the Blind Beggar with our pals from Falussy at some point in March (we’ll keep you posted), and after that we’ll be hitting the Winkin Owl stage for the first time in April–and again in June.

Stay warm!
