A wonderful thing happened on Saturday night. We not only had a great time putting on a four-set show at Original Joe’s Avenida, but we raised $5,150 for Andy McLuskey’s family at the same time.
Honesty, this surpassed all expectations, and we are absolutely blown away by the generosity of people–not just those who bought hundreds and hundreds of raffle tickets, but those who donated prizes individually and on behalf of their businesses.
All money raised has been forwarded to Cari to help with Aidan and Abby’s educational costs. Congratulations to Mark Allison, who won our grand prize of two round-trip tickets anywhere WestJet flies, and Sue Lehmann, who won our Calgary Flames ticket pack donated by the Enbridge Employee Club.
